How to use Photoshop to create a liquid splash effect for text or any object. Add gradients and grays then apply Chrome to the object to give it the liquid effect. Then distort using Liquify. Lastly add a clipping mask of actual water to change the color. And change the blend mode to Overlay. Creating a liquid effect is pretty easy in Photoshop!
